Estimated Salary Range: $60,000 - $80,000 per year

We are seeking a highly skilled Spiritual Care Professional to join our team on a part-time basis. As a member of our interdisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing spiritual care to patients, families, and staff across our healthcare system.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver compassionate spiritual care through direct visitation, consultation, and education.
  • Cultivate meaningful relationships with patients, families, and staff to address their spiritual needs.
  • Promote a culture of respect, empathy, and inclusivity within our organization.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care planning and execution.
  • Maintain accurate records of patient interactions and provide timely documentation.
  • Serve as a resource for staff and patients on matters related to spirituality, ethics, and advanced directives.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • Masters level degree in Theology/Divinity or a related field.
  • Four units of ACPE Certified CPE.
  • Certified or certification eligible as a Board Certified Chaplain in the Association of Professional Chaplains or a parallel cognate group.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Doctorate level degree in Theology/Ministry or a related field.
  • Advanced Chaplain Board Certification in the Association of Professional Chaplains.
  • 2+ years of chaplaincy or 5+ years ministry experience.
