Dental Care Professional

We are seeking a skilled Dental Care Professional to join our team at Naval Station Great Lakes in Illinois.
Key Responsibilities- Provide assistance in various phases of dental treatment, including restorative, prosthodontic, oral surgical, endodontic, and periodontal procedures.
- Schedule patients for treatment and obtain medical history.
- Chart examination and treatment information, and record prescriptions.
- Sterilize instruments and equipment, and maintain dental equipment in a clean and operative condition.
- Assist dentists at chair side, perform intra-oral procedures, and take preliminary impressions.
- Relay dentist instructions to patients, instruct them in proper dental techniques, and operate dental X-ray equipment.
- Certificate or Associate Degree in Dental Assisting/Technician from a CODA-accredited program, or equivalent experience.
- 12 months experience within the preceding 36 months, or equivalent experience.
- Membership in good standing with the American Association of Dental Assistants, or equivalent experience.

Estimated Salary Range$45,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
