Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks, troubleshooting equipment issues, and ensuring the overall upkeep of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning and lubricating equipment, and inspecting tools and machinery.
  • Respond to guest repair requests and communicate with guests to resolve maintenance issues.
  • Identify and locate shut-off valves for equipment and utility shut-offs for buildings.
  • Maintain maintenance inventory and requisition parts and supplies as needed.
  • Assure daily activities and problems are communicated to other shifts using approved communication programs and standards.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Certificate in two-year technical diploma program for HVAC/refrigeration.
  • Extensive experience and training in general maintenance, electrical, or refrigeration.
  • At least 2 years of hotel engineering/maintenance experience.
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • License or certification in refrigeration or electrical.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Universal Chlorofluorocarbon (CFC) certification.
