Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Biomedical Equipment Specialist III to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and inspections on various medical equipment, troubleshooting technical issues, and collaborating with clinical staff to ensure seamless operations.

You will work closely with our experienced technicians and department managers to develop and implement effective maintenance strategies, ensuring that all equipment is functioning optimally and meeting regulatory requirements.

Your expertise will contribute to enhancing patient outcomes and improving overall healthcare delivery, making this an exciting opportunity for professionals who are passionate about delivering exceptional service and promoting patient well-being.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Associates degree in electronics/biomedical equipment technology, military training, or equivalent experience
  • 3 years servicing clinical/patient care equipment in a hospital environment
  • Valid driver's license (for field service positions requiring travel)
  • Ability to work independently with some supervision
  • Good communication and customer service skills
  • Excellent organization and time management skills
  • Working knowledge of computer applications pertaining to tracking service histories and producing reports on assets
