Bellperson Assistant

At Elevation Hotel and Spa, we are seeking a highly skilled and attentive Bellperson to join our team. As a Bellperson, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring their stay with us is memorable and enjoyable.

• Loading and unloading luggage carts
• Organizing and delivering luggage for tour groups
• Escorting guests to rooms and familiarizing them with hotel services
• Inspecting guest rooms to ensure they are in order and supplies are adequate
• Explaining features of the room, including operation of electronic devices and entertainment
• Checking and storing luggage for arrivals and departures with luggage tags
• Delivering messages to meeting rooms
• Delivering flowers, laundry, packages, and other amenities to guest rooms
• Assisting with room changes
• Maintaining current listings of local and area attractions, special events, and activities
• Maintaining lists of local transportation guides, churches, sports arenas, etc.
• Assisting the Houseperson with guest requests
• Ensuring the lobby reader board is correct
• Providing information, maps, and directions as required
• Where applicable, answering the console to assist front desk agents
• Show guest rooms and suites as needed and emphasize the hotel's amenities

• High School diploma or equivalent required and/or experience in a hotel or a related field preferred
• Must have a valid driver's license for the applicable state (if applicable)
• Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 50 pounds of force frequently and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects
• Ability to stand during entire shift
• Must be able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
• Must be effective at listening to, understanding, and clarifying concerns raised by employees and guests
• Must be able to maintain confidentiality of information

Hourly rate: $17 per hour + tips
