CVS Health is seeking a highly skilled Senior Manager of Application Development to join our Aetna Medicare Part D Actuarial Team. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in reimagining our omnichannel health experience and harnessing cutting-edge technology to streamline and simplify the stakeholder experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement a custom GCP data management solution to optimize model performance, incorporating GCP community standards of practice, and including appropriate IAM controls
  • Convert a large SAS code base to BigQuery and Python running in a GCP environment
  • Perform code and architectural reviews
  • Conduct requirements analysis
  • Write clean, scalable queries and Python code for consumption by cloud architecture
  • Revise, update, refactor, and debug queries and code
  • Collaborate and clearly communicate with various teams, leaders, and stakeholders across the organization to design and deliver solutions that meet actuarial and underwriting needs
  • Organize and document code so that business logic is easy to locate, read, and update
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience with Google BigQuery & Python
  • Experience with version control software (Github preferred)
  • Familiarity with.NET framework and basic front-end UI design
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences at all levels of the organization
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 8+ years of healthcare domain experience preferred
  • 8+ years of experience with Python Pandas library for Data Science (DataFrames)
  • 4+ years of experience with Microsoft Excel, Access & VBA
