Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team as a Design and Development Specialist. The successful candidate will work directly with customers and engineering firms to respond to technical questions and issues at all phases of the project.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide design submittal drawings in a timely manner that accurately reflect specified designs.
  • Work directly with customers and engineering firms to respond to technical questions and issues at all phases of the project.
  • Develop designs that ensure reliability, compliance to industry standards, and conformance to applicable industry standards.
  • Assist operations with alternate components designs and suppliers when availability of specified or approved components becomes problematic.
  • Stay abreast of the latest component technology, test methods, and applicable industry standards and incorporate into designs as required and advantageous for safety, cost, etc.

Requirements

  • BS in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • 4+ years' experience in practical design engineering and high voltage testing.
  • A strong background in AutoCAD.
  • The ability to switch between multiple projects quickly and provide team members with detailed technical support in both the design and debugging stages of the project.
