Position Title: Radiologic Technologist

Overview: The Radiologic Technologist at Spring View Clinic is responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures while ensuring patient safety and comfort. The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of human anatomy and demonstrate proficiency in imaging techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Exhibit a solid grasp of image quality and radiographic positioning.
  • Effectively communicate with patients to explain procedures and alleviate any concerns.
  • Adhere to radiation safety protocols and infection control measures.
  • Maintain a clean and hazard-free work environment.
  • Conduct routine diagnostic imaging studies as required.
  • Adapt work schedules as necessary to meet departmental needs.
  • Provide services to a diverse patient demographic, including neonates, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.

Qualifications:

The candidate must be registered or eligible for registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and possess a General Certificate from the Commonwealth of Kentucky's Radiation Operators Program. A high school diploma or GED is required, along with graduation from a JRC/CAHEA accredited Radiologic Technology program. CPR certification is mandatory, and one year of recent experience is preferred.

Department: Radiology/Imaging Services

Work Schedule: Full-time, Day shift, 7-10 hours per shift, weekdays only.
