About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center & Clinics Radiology-Diagnostic department. As a Radiologic Technologist, you will be responsible for performing radiologic procedures, including imaging and fluoroscopy, to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate imaging equipment and perform radiologic procedures, including fluoroscopy and portable imaging.
  • Review medical records and patient history to ensure accurate and safe imaging procedures.
  • Administer contrast media and recognize and respond to hypersensitivity or allergic reactions.
  • Perform quality control procedures on imaging equipment to ensure compliance with Federal and Joint Commission standards.
  • Organize daily work schedules and respond to emergencies.
  • Instruct medical staff and oversee student technologists in unit operations.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an American Medical Association (AMA) approved allied health program specific to the modality employed.
  • Must be able to perform duties independently with minimal supervision.
  • Must be proficient in the use of Radiology Information Systems (RIS), Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS), and other computer systems unique to the specific imaging section.
  • Must be able and willing to work on-call, weekends, holidays, and variable shifts.
  • Required licensure/certifications include Professional registry for the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) for modality employed, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, and Licensed by the Board of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy in the state of New Hampshire.
