About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Optical Store Manager to join our team at America's Best. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, optimizing store operations, and delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive Sales Growth: Develop and implement strategies to increase sales revenue, achieve profit targets, and monitor retail operating costs.
  • Optimize Store Operations: Oversee the eyewear department, ensuring efficiency and compliance with company policies and operational guidelines. Identify areas for improvement and implement action plans to enhance performance.
  • Lead and Develop Team Members: Supervise and motivate Opticians and CL Sales associates, ensuring they meet sales and customer service goals. Assist with recruiting, selecting, and retaining high-caliber staff.
  • Manage Store Performance: Analyze financial reports, identify areas for improvement, and implement strategies to drive sales growth and optimize store operations.
  • Ensure Quality Standards: Maintain high-quality standards in all aspects of store operations, including customer service, product knowledge, and visual merchandising.
Requirements
  • Optical License: Maintain an active optical license as required by the state.
  • Experience: Proven experience in optical sales, with supervisory experience preferred.
  • Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and build strong relationships with team members.
  • Business Acumen: Strong understanding of store operations, financial management, and sales strategies.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively manage teams and communicate with customers.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to analyze problems, identify solutions, and implement action plans to drive results.
