We are seeking highly qualified clinicians, clinician-investigators, and investigators to join our esteemed Urology Department at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. As a leading academic medical center, we offer a dynamic and collaborative environment that fosters innovation and excellence in patient care, education, and research.

About the Position

We are looking for individuals with a strong background in urology, who are passionate about delivering exceptional patient care and advancing the field through research and education. Our ideal candidate will have a MD, PhD, or MD/PhD degree, and be board certified or board eligible in urology. Preference will be given to candidates with fellowship training in urologic oncology, reconstructive surgery, endourology, and female pelvic/reconstructive surgery.

Research Opportunities

Our department has a robust research program, with a strong focus on clinical trials and basic science research in kidney stone disease. We encourage investigators with interests in urologic cancer and health disparities to apply. Our team is passionate about mentoring and training the next generation of urologists, and we offer a range of opportunities for residents and fellows to develop their skills.
