Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee cost accounting functions including Purchase Price Variance (PPV), Labor Reporting, and Physical Inventory management
  • Assist with general accounting tasks such as journal entries, inventory assessments, monthly obsolescence reviews, and cycle accounting
  • Lead a small team of accounting professionals
  • Manage daily operations of cost accounting and project accounting systems, processes, and protocols
  • Facilitate the implementation of new accounting software modules
  • Act as a pivotal leader in organizational change, driving continuous operational improvements
  • Establish metrics and tracking systems for key cost drivers
  • Conduct various month-end closing activities and support the annual external financial audit

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
  • CPA designation is preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
  • Proficient with large ERP systems, SAP experience is advantageous
  • Ability to write macros in Excel
