About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Design Engineer I to join our team at American Honda Motor. As a key member of our Accessory Development Division, you will play a critical role in developing innovative automotive accessories that enhance the customer experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create accessory layouts and designs that meet market quality requirements
  • Develop and issue drawings, specifications, and conduct physical testing to ensure product quality
  • Collaborate with styling, engineering, and suppliers to negotiate and finalize product designs
  • Manage development schedules and communicate with project teams and suppliers
  • Calculate design costs and ensure on-time delivery
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
  • 1-3 years of experience in CAD design software (CATIA or similar)
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
