Position Summary

The Property Inspector/Runner is tasked with ensuring that the properties under management are thoroughly prepared for guest arrivals. This role involves collaboration with cleaning teams, maintenance personnel, property managers, and occasionally, guests. The Property Inspector undertakes various responsibilities, including reporting maintenance issues, coordinating cleaning efforts, inspecting properties for cleanliness, and delivering essential items to guests.
  • Acts as the primary liaison for property status updates within the internal team.
  • Conducts comprehensive inspections to ensure properties are clean and ready for guests.
  • Identifies and reports repair or replacement needs to the property manager.
  • Maintains high standards of customer service, responding promptly to team members and vendors.
  • Delivers housewares, linens, and other necessary items to guests and cleaning staff.
  • Collaborates with housekeeping to prepare inventory lists and monitor cleanliness.
  • Performs minor maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs and tightening fixtures.
  • Completes additional related duties as assigned.
  • Must be proficient in using mobile applications on iOS or Android devices.
Physical Requirements

The physical demands outlined here represent the requirements necessary for an individual to successfully execute the essential functions of this position. Regular driving, communication, and listening are essential. Frequent travel to various properties, which may involve navigating multiple flights of stairs, is required. The role may involve light lifting, moving items, and occasional cleaning under time constraints. Housekeeping preparation may necessitate lifting and bending, while work in the laundry area may involve handling laundry bags weighing up to 35 pounds.

Work Environment

The characteristics of the work environment described here are typical for individuals performing the essential functions of this role. This position is primarily conducted in rental properties with moderate to high noise levels. Frequent inspections of both indoor and outdoor areas are required, and individuals may encounter varying weather conditions.

Job Type: Full-time

Compensation: $18 - $20 per hour
