Job Summary

As a Senior Auditor at New York Power Authority, you will play a critical role in ensuring the organization's operations are efficient, effective, and compliant with regulatory requirements. You will be responsible for conducting internal audits, identifying areas for improvement, and providing recommendations to management. Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, execute, and report on internal audits, including IT, financial, and operational audits.
  • Identify and assess risks, and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including management, employees, and external partners.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulatory requirements, and best practices.
  • Collaborate with the audit team to develop and implement audit plans, and provide guidance and support as needed.
  • Communicate audit findings and recommendations to management and other stakeholders.
  • Participate in special projects and initiatives, as needed.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as accounting, finance, or business administration.
  • Minimum four years of experience in internal auditing, risk management, or a related field.
  • CISA certification is required.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
