Job Overview

We're seeking a highly skilled Strategic Business Development Leader to join our team. As a leader in the Modular Open Systems Approach (MOSA) Payloads segment, you'll play a critical role in executing programs and winning pursuits that drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple programs through their life cycle, from pursuit and order capture to design, development, production, and long-term strategic business planning.
  • Focus on meeting delivery commitments, exceeding customer satisfaction, and driving growth plans.
  • Create cross-business product synergies to support business objectives.
  • Develop strategic roadmaps for the future of the MOSA Payloads segment.
  • Oversee bidding and responses to winning proposals.
  • Maintain program cost, schedule, risk, support, manufacturing, and quality metrics.
  • Develop solutions to mitigate or prevent program challenges.
  • Support the development of product line investment business cases and new business growth strategies.
  • Identify requirements for key program pursuits and development of the product line.
  • Lead IPT decision-making and apply critical thinking where incomplete data exists.
  • Communicate with leadership on matters of strategic importance.
  • Prepare and present value stream strategy, progress, and results.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Typically requires a university degree and minimum 12 years of prior relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field and minimum 10 years of experience, or in absence of a degree, 16 years of relevant experience.
  • Active and transferable U.S. government-issued Top Secret Security Clearance is required prior to start date.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
  • Proven experience and understanding of earned value management systems (EVMS).
  • Experience with program execution of government contracts and ability to guide a team through Request for Information, competitive proposals, negotiations, and contract award.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Understanding of DoD acquisition and communication style.
  • Strength in interpersonal and presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently.
  • Experience with hardware and/or software project planning and execution.
  • Experienced communicator, both oral and written.

Estimated Salary Range

$143,000 - $287,000 per year, based on location and experience.
