Job Title: Hybrid Front End Developer

Solving IT is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Hybrid Front End Developer to join their world-class team in New York, New York. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for developing secure, scalable, and reliable technology solutions that meet the company's high standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with Product Manager and QA engineers to deliver high-quality product capabilities that drive market success.
  • Review code to identify and mitigate potential issues and defects, and develop solutions to complex problems.
  • Design and develop front-end components and features that meet the company's technical requirements.
  • Contribute to process enhancements and enforce best practices on project work.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field.
  • Excellent working experience with JavaScript frameworks (Vue, React), advanced CSS, web-based technologies, web components, and WebSocket technology.
  • Strong understanding of HTML5, semantic markup, and code reuse.
  • Proficiency in CSS with a solid understanding of modern techniques such as responsive web design, graceful degradation, and object-oriented development.
  • Strong ES6 JavaScript skills with knowledge of developing large modular applications.
  • Experience in application architecture, W3C standards, accessibility, and usability.
  • Experience in building products with integration dependencies with backend systems owned by other teams.
  • Experience in building high-performance APIs, services, and applications.
  • Understanding of the consumption of RESTful web services via HTTP.
  • Working knowledge of CI/CD strategy in a cloud-native environment.
Preferred Requirements:
  • Experience building products with microservice and/or microfrontend architecture.
  • Experience building automation strategies around UI products.
  • Experience coding in a story-driven, agile environment.
  • Prior experience working in financial services, exchange, or trading domains.
  • Prior experience working with BDD methodologies and automated acceptance criteria.
  • Prior experience using Confluence, JIRA, or other Atlassian tools.
