  3. Equipment Usage: Familiarity with emergency and treatment equipment is essential.
  4. Bloodborne Pathogen Exposure: Employees in this role typically do not engage in tasks that involve exposure to blood or other potentially infectious materials, although they may occasionally perform such tasks.
  5. Mandatory Training: Direct care training is required for this position.
  6. Performance Improvement: Our organization is committed to enhancing service delivery through continuous improvement. All staff members are expected to engage collaboratively with colleagues and clients to ensure high-quality, individualized services.
  7. Population Needs: Assist in developing a recovery-oriented system of care that empowers individuals, families, and communities. Provide peer support to promote long-term recovery from substance use disorders.

Service Delivery: This role involves delivering peer support services within the MAT program, maintaining a productivity rate of 70%. Responsibilities include:

  1. Providing individual and group support to those facing challenges with opioid use and other substance misuse.
  2. Offering assistance to families and allies, while upholding recovery principles.
  3. Connecting clients to local recovery communities and treatment services as needed.
  4. Participating in case reviews and maintaining accurate records of client progress.
  5. Facilitating transportation for clients to appointments and activities.
  6. Coordinating necessary medical care and educational group presentations.

Documentation: Complete collaborative documentation of service delivery in compliance with all relevant guidelines.

Additional Duties: Attend required training sessions and meetings, and perform other assigned tasks as necessary.
