Key Responsibilities
  • Clinical Support
    • Perform clinical procedures under the supervision of a physician or healthcare provider.
    • Prepare patients for exams, administer medications, and document patient information.
  • Patient Care
    • Escort patients to exam rooms, take vital signs, and communicate with patients in a clear and professional manner.
    • Ensure patient charts are up-to-date and accurate.
  • Team Collaboration
    • Work collaboratively with healthcare providers, nurses, and other staff members to ensure seamless patient care.
    • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Administrative Tasks
    • Process patient messages, verify prescriptions, and maintain accurate logs.
    • Assist with various specialty duties, such as EKG testing, pulmonary testing, and minor surgical assists.
Requirements
  • Education
    • High School graduate or equivalent.
    • Graduate/Diploma from an accredited LPN Program.
  • Credentials/Licensure
    • License to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the State of Ohio.
    • CPR/BLS Certification.
  • Skills
    • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Proficient in medical terminology and basic computer literacy.
    • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

  • Works in a professional office environment with possible high stress levels.
  • Primarily inside in well-lighted, well-ventilated areas.
