We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Surgical Technologist to join our team at Duke Health. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our operating rooms and providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist surgeons and other medical professionals during surgical procedures
  • Prepare and maintain a sterile environment for surgical procedures
  • Pass instruments and supplies to surgeons during procedures
  • Count and verify surgical sponges and instruments
  • Assist with patient preparation and positioning for surgery
  • Participate in the maintenance of a clean and organized operating room environment
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program or maintains an accredited Surgical Technologist certification (NCCT or NBSTSA)
  • 0-18 months of full-time equivalent Surgical Technology experience (Level I)
  • 6-12 months of full-time equivalent Surgical Technology experience (Level II)
