Unit Secretary/Nurse Assistant

As a Unit Secretary/Nurse Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing quality patient care and supporting the healthcare team at MercyOne Medical Center-Clinton. This is a full-time position working 12-hour day shifts.
Key Responsibilities- Assist patients with activities of daily living and provide emotional and spiritual support
- Perform clerical and receptionist duties, including transcribing physician orders and scheduling diagnostic tests
- Maintain patient medical records and complete documentation for billing
- Provide routine information to patients and staff, and relay messages to appropriate personnel
- Work under the supervision of a registered nurse to provide patient care and other delegated nursing activities
- Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) certification from the State of Iowa
- High school education or equivalent required
- Minimum of three years' experience in a related field preferred
- Ability to work concurrently on multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
