Job Title: DevOps Developer

Corelation is seeking a detail-oriented and technically proficient entry-level developer specializing in development operations to join our team.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled DevOps Developer to work primarily in BASH Shell and C++ to develop installation software and patches for clients. The successful candidate will support release configuration in a systems engineering capacity and be responsible for CI/CD pipelines in support of software development and clients.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop shell scripts to create and/or modify scripts for patches for clients.
  • Monitor software patch releases and security bulletins to identify vulnerabilities and required patches for internal and external software.
  • Download, evaluate, test, and package partner upgrade and installation patches for clients.
  • Collaborate with the development team to test patches and software updates and ensure they are compatible with existing systems.
  • Develop and maintain documentation related to patch and release management processes, procedures, and policies.
  • Maintain historical records by documenting patch and release development and revisions.
  • Work with clients to ensure patching schedules are established and followed.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to clients on patch management related issues.
  • Evaluate and recommend process improvements to the software management and release cycle.
  • Assist in the development of CI/CD process improvements.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
  • Experience and motivation to write complex "shell" scripts. 1+ years' experience in shell scripting.
Preferred Skills:
  • Linux experience. AIX desired.
  • Skilled in troubleshooting third-party software problems.
