Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Customer Service Specialist to join our team at Colonial Mall. As a key member of our sales floor team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, meeting sales goals, and maintaining a high level of product knowledge.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist customers with their shopping needs, answer questions, and resolve issues promptly
  • Meet or exceed monthly sales targets through effective sales techniques, product knowledge, and up-selling/cross-selling opportunities
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including visual merchandising and stockroom organization
  • Process transactions accurately and efficiently, handling cash, credit card payments, and other forms of payment
  • Participate in physical inventories, assist in shipping and receiving merchandise, and participate in merchandise placement on the sales floor when needed

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; prior retail experience preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and colleagues
  • Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a point-of-sale system
  • Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 25 pounds, and move freely throughout the store
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends
