Your Responsibilities:
- Focus on the sales order lifecycle from quotation to purchasing release, while assisting the Finance team with invoicing as required.
- Ensure accurate and timely entry of complex customer purchase orders, including production and repair orders.
- Monitor and expedite internal contract reviews and order acknowledgments.
- Manage the daily operations of the Order Management inbox and purchase order log.
- Coordinate purchase order modifications to align with Curtiss-Wright's quotations.
- Collaborate with Professional Services and Sales teams to support customer deliverables.
- Serve as the primary contact for customers regarding day-to-day inquiries, acting as a liaison with internal departments.
- Effectively communicate customer order details to internal teams to ensure compliance with requirements.
- Work closely with Professional Services to enhance customer satisfaction and drive supportive activities.
- Participate in customer meetings and conference calls, representing Project Managers as necessary.
- Escalate issues to Professional Services and management as needed.
- Negotiate or reschedule delivery dates with customers as required.
- Attend internal meetings to address potential risks to timely delivery.
- Demonstrate strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
What You Bring:
- 2 to 5 years of experience in Sales Order Management, preferably within the manufacturing sector.
- Experience in order management, including the entry and tracking of customer purchase orders.
- Detail-oriented and highly motivated, with the ability to coordinate tasks across various teams.
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Strong communication, decision-making, and teamwork skills, with a commitment to providing exceptional service to both internal and external customers.
- Ability to adapt in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
- Proficient in computer applications, including MS Office, MRP, and CRM systems (knowledge of SAP, Sage, or Pivotal is advantageous).
- Negotiation skills are a plus, with a focus on achieving mutually beneficial outcomes.
- Basic understanding of sales and use tax regulations is beneficial.
- Familiarity with International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and associated export policies is a plus.
