Key Responsibilities:
  • Growing Revenue from Paid Search: Leverage Google's tools, including bid optimization, copy tests, and audience-based rules, and pair them with internal customer cohort and third-party data to maximize return on ad spend (ROAS).
  • Analyzing Data for Insights: Examine lifetime values by keyword or channel, conversion rates by market, and time of day to inform data-driven decisions.
  • Building Tools and Systems: Develop and implement technical solutions to streamline processes, such as building a system to test ad copy or integrating ad platforms with internal data.
  • Exploring New Channels: Identify and test new marketing channels to discover opportunities that provide a positive return on investment (ROI).
  • Owning the P&L for Ad Spend: Manage the revenue and cost sides of paid acquisition, preparing 3-year, 1-year, and quarterly plans to drive growth.
  • Expanding into New Verticals: Lead the paid strategies for new home services markets, tailoring and scaling our approach to tap into specific market potentials and drive significant growth.
  • Building a Dynamic Team: Lead and mentor a team of paid acquisition experts, setting clear performance metrics and defining a culture of innovation and improvement.
  • Cross-Team Collaboration: Bridge the gap between paid acquisition efforts and other departmental strategies, ensuring alignment with the company's overall business goals through close collaboration with product teams, sales, and customer service.
Requirements:
  • Experience with Large Scale Paid Search Campaigns: Manage Adwords at scale, leveraging tools and data to drive growth in a complex, nuanced environment.
  • Strong Technical Chops & Business Intuition: Excel in spreadsheets, SQL, and scripting languages, pairing technical expertise with business acumen to drive data-driven decisions.
  • Ready to Roll Up Your Sleeves: Lead by example, stepping in to handle tasks when necessary, and drive results in a lean team structure.
