Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Banquet Server to join our team at the Embassy Suites in Brookfield, WI. As a Banquet Server, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to our guests, setting up and breaking down functions, and maintaining a safe and accident-free environment.

Estimated Salary: $45,000 - $55,000 per year based on experience and qualifications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide warm and knowledgeable service to guests, ensuring they have a memorable experience.
  • Set up and break down functions, including tables, buffets, and special food service equipment.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to company policies and procedures.
  • Assist the Banquet Captain in setting up and breaking down functions, as needed.
  • Complete assigned paperwork and side work during and after events.

Requirements:
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience with Marriott, Hilton, IHG, Wyndham, or Hyatt processes and standards preferred.
  • Ability to perform non-repetitive analytical work, requiring thorough knowledge of the catering and food profession.
  • Strong communication and supervisory skills, with ability to determine course of action based on policies and procedures.
  • Excellent vision, moderate hearing, and moderate speech communication skills required.
  • Lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying heavy objects (up to 75% of the time).
