We're seeking a skilled Pathologist Assistant to join our team at Sonic Healthcare USA. As a vital part of our patient care process, you'll play a crucial role in preparing, grossing, and dissecting human tissue surgical specimens.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform high-quality tissue preparation and grossing, ensuring accurate and detailed descriptions
  • Recognize and implement effective solutions to ensure quality control and patient safety
  • Work in a fast-paced laboratory environment, adhering to safety protocols and regulations
  • Champion quality and compliance, driving excellence in every aspect of your work

What We're Looking For:

  • Bachelor of Science or Master's degree in Pathologists' Assistant program from a NCCLS-accredited institution
  • 1 year of laboratory experience, with a focus on grossing all tissue types from simple to complex
  • Certification by the American Society of Clinical Pathologists BOC
  • Strong reading, writing, and analytical skills, with the ability to operate general laboratory equipment
