Estimated Salary Range$73,000 - $88,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications

Job DescriptionWe are looking for a skilled electrical engineer with a minimum of two years of design experience in the consulting engineering industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for technical performance, knowledge of engineering principles and practices, and the ability to apply techniques, modifications, and theories independently while utilizing guidance from other engineers and project managers.

Essential Job Responsibilities
  • Responsible for working on technical production for projects
  • Takes ownership of production/design on portions of systems
  • Performs load calculations & code research
  • Coordinates with internal team members and external clients
  • Coordinates with external team members such as owners, architects, sub consultants
  • Participates in meetings with clients/owners
  • Conducts periodic job site observations

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Skilled in the use of Microsoft Office and CAD, BlueBeam and REVIT software
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Ability to work collaboratively with others
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering from an ABET accredited four-year college or university
  • Must have a minimum of two (2) years of experience in the MEP industry with experience working on technical design
  • Registration as an EIT (or goal to obtain within the first year of employment)
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States
