Veterinary Technician

We are seeking a skilled Veterinary Technician to join our team at Animal Care Center of Barrington, P.C. As a full-service general practice veterinary clinic, we provide exceptional patient care and are committed to delivering high-quality services to our clients.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in veterinary medicine, with proficiency in venipuncture, IV catheter placement, anesthesia induction and monitoring, radiographs, dental prophylaxis, and cytology reading. Strong communication skills and a motivated attitude are essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality patient care and support to our veterinary team
• Assist with medical procedures, including venipuncture and radiographs
• Monitor anesthesia and vital signs during surgical procedures
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care and treatment
• Communicate effectively with clients and veterinary staff

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 2 years of experience in veterinary medicine required
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Work Schedule:

• 10 hour shifts, Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed
