Job Title: Childcare Provider

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Childcare Provider to join our team at Hays Consolidated Independent School District. As a Childcare Provider, you will play a vital role in providing a safe, healthy, and stimulating learning environment for young children.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish a positive and nurturing relationship with children, parents, and colleagues.
  • Plan and implement engaging activities that promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.
  • Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment, adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and colleagues to ensure seamless transitions and shared goals.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Child Development Associate Credential (CDA) preferred.
  • Experience working with young children, with a minimum of six months.
  • Ability to lift up to 35 pounds and move quickly to protect children.
Working Conditions:

This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with frequent changes in schedules and priorities. The successful candidate must be able to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to providing exceptional care and education to young children.
