Key Responsibilities:
  • Establishing and nurturing positive relationships with community businesses to facilitate meaningful employment opportunities.
  • Actively recruiting new clients for employment services offered by AbleLight.
  • Creating a robust client pipeline by collaborating with educational institutions to implement pre-employment transition services.
  • Maintaining open communication with employers to identify successes and areas for improvement.
  • Partnering with businesses to eliminate employment barriers and promote independence for individuals with disabilities.
  • Coordinating with educational institutions to enhance pre-employment transition services and build a client pipeline.
  • Collaborating with vocational rehabilitation services and other referral sources to ensure comprehensive support.
  • Ensuring accurate and timely documentation of program activities and client progress.
  • Adhering to licensing regulations, agency policies, and best practices while safeguarding individual rights.
  • Monitoring and evaluating job performance to provide constructive feedback and recommendations.
  • Engaging in additional responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of two years of relevant experience, including at least six months working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license.
  • Ability to pass a background check.
  • Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings and weekends as necessary.
