We are seeking a highly skilled Inventory Control Specialist to join our team at Flex-N-Gate. As an Inventory Control Specialist, you will be responsible for accurately reporting manufactured product and ensuring the achievement of company goals and objectives.
Key Responsibilities- Inventory Management: Work with ERP systems to troubleshoot inventory discrepancies and monitor inventory accuracy.
- Cycle Counting: Maintain minimum inventory levels and monitor for accuracy regularly with cycle counts.
- Inventory Communication: Communicate current inventory with material scheduler.
- Team Collaboration: Work as a team with Manufacturing to locate and cycle count product.
- Inventory Database Management: Check and update inventory databases with current data.
- Receipt Verification: Verify receipt data entry from Receivers and monitor FIFO of raw materials throughout the plant.
- CMS Database Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot inventory discrepancies, understand transactions in inventory database, and perform root cause analysis.
- Quality Management: Work with Quality Management on supplier quality issues to ensure production is protected.
- System Knowledge: Keep up to date with system changes and training requirements related to job duties.
- Environmental Management: The incumbent is responsible for the awareness, understanding, specific responsibilities, and management of the Environmental Management System (EMS) as stated in EMS policy CEVPL.00005.
- Education: High School Diploma and 2 years manufacturing/inventory experience.
- Skills: Excellent organizational and time management skills, proficiency with database applications and administration systems, specifically Microsoft Office, ability to work effectively alone and prioritize, highly motivated, service and team-oriented individual with an attention to detail, strong analytical ability, supervisory and interpersonal skills, troubleshooting ability, strong decision making and problem solving skills, and demonstrated good internal customer service skills.
