We are seeking a highly skilled Human Resources Coordinator to join our team at Timbers Kaua'i at Hōkūala. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for providing professional-level human resources activities in support of our resort's operations.
Key Responsibilities- Perform job analysis to support recruitment activities and design effective recruitment programs.
- Coordinate and administer job-related selection procedures, including application reviews, written and performance tests, and interviews.
- Conduct new hire orientation and assist with managing HRIS systems.
- Develop and implement employee development and training programs, and maintain personnel files in compliance with federal and state laws and regulations.
- Prepare and distribute quarterly employee newsletters and monthly birthday and anniversary recognitions.
- Plan and organize employee activities and recognition programs, and ensure all work is done in compliance with federal and state laws and regulations.
To be successful in this role, you will need a Bachelor's degree and one year of professional human resources or administrative experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
You will also need to possess strong knowledge of human resources administration, including recruitment and selection, job analysis, classification and compensation administration, and employee relations. Additionally, you will need to be proficient in Microsoft software, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
