About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HVAC Service Technician to join our team at ConServ Building Services LLC. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing top-notch service and maintenance to our commercial clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Service and repair commercial refrigeration equipment, including walk-in coolers, freezers, and small self-contained units.
  • Install, maintain, and repair commercial HVAC and refrigeration equipment, including thermostats, humidistats, and timers.
  • Troubleshoot and repair commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems, including testing lines, components, and connections for leaks.
  • Discuss heating or cooling system malfunctions with clients to isolate problems and verify that repairs corrected malfunctions.
  • Repair or service heating, ventilating, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems to improve efficiency, including changing filters, cleaning condenser and evaporator coils using approved methods and chemicals.
  • Install, connect, or adjust thermostats, humidistats, or timers.
  • Communicate with clients regarding the status of repair or maintenance being performed or needed on equipment.
  • Order and install replacement parts as needed.
Requirements
  • Ability to lift 50lbs, climb a ladder, and work in any weather condition.
  • Universal EPA Certification.
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check and on-site drug test.
  • Safely operate and maintain company-provided vehicle.
  • Be available for after-hours service to clients.
  • Provide top-quality customer service.
  • Experience in a commercial HVAC setting, refrigeration equipment, ice machines, HVAC, hot foods, and preventative maintenance is a plus.
  • Must provide own tools, such as basic hand tools, gauges, and power tools.
  • Company Provided Tools: ladders, vacuum pumps, re-claimers, torch and tank for nitrogen, leak detector.
