Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Forefront Healthcare & Culinary Services is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team in Atmore and Brewton, Alabama. As a key member of our facilities management department, you will be responsible for performing general maintenance and repair tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our facilities.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment, machinery, and buildings
  • Fix or replace faulty electrical switches, outlets, and circuit breakers (as allowable per local and state requirements)
  • Inspect and diagnose problems, and figure out the best way to correct them
  • Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure that machines continue to run smoothly
  • Assemble and set up machinery or equipment
  • Plan repair work using blueprints or diagrams
  • Do general cleaning and upkeep of buildings and properties
  • Order supplies from catalogs and storerooms
  • Prepare estimates; repairs and costs
  • Keep detailed records of their work
Requirements:
  • At a minimum, applicant must be able to obtain OSHA 10 (Construction Industry) or OSHA 10 (General Industry) safety certification within the first six (6) months of employment (this training will be provided)
  • No certifications/licenses are required
  • Five (5) years of maintenance experience desired
  • At a minimum, high school diploma and/or equivalent
Benefits:
  • $15.00 per hour
  • 20 hours per week at a facility in Atmore, and 20 hours per week at a facility in Brewton
