We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Systems Engineer to join our Event Productions team at Amazon. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the health and success of all production equipment located within our venue, as well as operating and ensuring the success of each event that takes place within the venue.
Key Responsibilities- Promptly and thoroughly communicate with team members, customers, and business partners to ensure seamless event execution.
- Proactively engage with production teams to pursue process improvements and enhance the overall event experience.
- Search out opportunities to help others improve their skillsets and knowledge base, contributing to a culture of continuous learning and growth.
- Contribute as a subject matter expert in the field of audio/visual production, with a focus on video and lighting production.
- Design, program, and operate live events with autonomy, taking customers' ideas and delivering an outstanding product.
- Ensure industry best practices are followed with a safety-first mindset, prioritizing the well-being of team members and attendees.
- Track and report on inventory statuses and needs, ensuring adequate stock of event-critical items are available and at the ready.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in live event productions, with a strong background in audio, video, and lighting systems.
- Ability to setup and operate digital audio, video, and lighting mixing consoles for live shows.
- Proven experience with break/fix support for production equipment, with a focus on troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
- Ability to create and edit documents in Microsoft Office platforms (Word, Excel, PPT).
- Familiarity with producer-led show calling and production-specific health and safety protocols.
- Ability to lift and move up to 50lbs, with a focus on physical stamina and endurance.
- Experience with inventory management, including tracking and reporting on inventory statuses and needs.
- Ability to setup basic IP-based networks that support audio-visual devices and protocols.
- Familiarity with matrix-based signal routing systems.
- 2-4 year degree in A/V, technical theatre, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Knowledge of Paradigm systems, Ross Video Systems, and Vectorworks or similar design software.
- d&b Audio Systems experience a plus.
