We are seeking a highly skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our multidisciplinary cardiovascular services team at MemorialCare Health System. As a key member of our team, you will provide high-quality patient care, collaborate with other healthcare professionals, and contribute to the development of clinical programs that enhance our services.
Responsibilities- Provide examination, evaluation, and recommendation for treatment of patients using standardized protocols
- Perform daily rounding and care of patients through clinical duties, including consultations, ordering of diagnostic tests, and prescribing of pharmacological and non-pharmacological therapies
- Develop treatment plans to facilitate the continuum of care from admissions to discharge
- Effectively communicate and document data relevant to patient care
- Collaborate with other professional disciplines to ensure safe and effective patient care delivery and achievement of desired patient outcomes
- Minimum of five years of critical care or cardiovascular nursing experience
- Minimum of two years' experience in a similar nurse practitioner/coordinator role
- CCRN-American Association of Critical Care Nurse preferred
- National certification in a nurse practitioner specialty preferred
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
