Diagnostic Imaging Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to provide comprehensive diagnostic imaging services to our veteran population in Richmond, VA. This is a full-time position that requires rotating shifts, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
About the RoleThis Diagnostic Imaging Specialist will be responsible for performing general radiographic procedures, conducting DEXA bone density scans, executing fluoroscopic examinations, processing and quality checking digital images, maintaining radiation safety standards, documenting patient care and procedures, transporting and positioning patients safely, and participating in department quality assurance.
Required Qualifications- ARRT certification (R)
- Current state licensure
- BLS certification
- PACS experience
- Digital radiography proficiency
- Strong patient care skills
- 2+ years of experience
- Experience with multiple radiographic systems
- Prior healthcare system experience
- Trauma imaging experience
The estimated salary for this position is $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience. Shifts include a 30-minute unpaid break, and the position requires flexibility to work any of the three shifts as scheduled, with weekend and holiday rotation required. Call coverage may be required based on department needs.
