Job Title: Diagnostic Imaging Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled Diagnostic Imaging Technician to join our team at CareNow. As a Diagnostic Imaging Technician, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures and working closely with other healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care.

About the Role:

As a Diagnostic Imaging Technician with CareNow, you will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment that is ideal for medical imaging specialists who are looking to advance their careers. Our urgent care centers offer a wide range of imaging services, including x-ray views and in-house lab tests.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform diagnostic imaging procedures, including x-ray views and in-house lab tests.
  • Work closely with other healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care.
  • Assist with front desk duties, including greeting patients and checking them in/out.
  • Maintain and calibrate lab/x-ray equipment daily.
  • Inspect and report artifacts from the x-ray screen.
  • Operate equipment according to policy and manufacturer guidelines.
  • Complete semi-annual X-Ray inspections and maintain records.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of clinical experience in a patient care setting required.
  • Registered Radiologic Technologist, ARRT Certification required.
  • State licensure may be required.
  • BLS certification within 30 days of start required.
