Job Description:

As a Childcare Educator at The Word Academy, you will be responsible for creating a safe and clean environment for our young students. Your primary role will involve facilitating daily activities, following lesson plans, and maintaining open communication with parents.

Responsibilities:
  • Facilitate a safe and clean environment at all times.
  • Follow the lesson planned created by the lead teacher.
  • Take care of all general needs throughout the day, as needed.
  • Keep open communication with parents and guardians.
  • Change diapers and assist with toileting needs.
  • Follow the daily schedule provided by administration.
  • Help with all instructional times, such as circle time and art.
  • Give age-appropriate instructions for educational and developmental growth.
  • Warm up and set out lunches and snacks.
  • Monitor the children at all times, both inside and outside the classroom.
  • Provide age-appropriate positive discipline.

Salary: $45,000 - $55,000 per year
