About the Role:

As a CDL Truck Driver with Walters Recycling and Refuse, Inc., you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient collection of waste and recyclables in residential and industrial areas. Your responsibilities will include operating a variety of vehicles and mechanized devices, navigating through congested communities and confined areas, and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Safely operate vehicles and equipment, adhering to established routes and procedures.
  • Navigate through tight spaces and congested areas, requiring strong backing skills.
  • Service customers by climbing in and out of the truck cab, completing daily driver logs, and performing pre- and post-trip truck inspections.
  • Work in all weather conditions, including extreme temperatures, and adapt to changing circumstances.

Requirements:
  • Class A or B CDL License with no air brake restriction.
  • Clean driving record and mapping skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently and 100 pounds occasionally, with a strong physical presence.
  • High school diploma or equivalent and 18 years of age or older.
