Position Overview

The Travel Echo-Vascular Technician plays a crucial role in providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services. This position requires a dedicated professional with a strong background in ultrasound technology and vascular imaging.

Certification Requirements
  • Must hold a valid registration as a diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer through RDCS or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI).
  • Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) is mandatory.
  • Graduation from an accredited Ultrasound Technology program is essential.
  • Registered or registry-eligible as a Vascular Technologist with a minimum of 2 years of relevant vascular experience.
  • Experience in congenital echocardiography is preferred.
  • State licensure or certification as required by Georgia.
Job Responsibilities
  • Work in the 712C Cardiology Services unit, specializing in echocardiography.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in the specialty area is required.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in operating various ultrasound equipment and understanding the associated methods and techniques.
  • Exhibit the ability to perform designated skills and procedures competently.
  • Possess intermediate computer skills for documentation and reporting.
Additional Requirements
  • Maintain current BLS certification.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a hospital environment is preferred.

This position typically follows a schedule from 3 PM to 11:30 PM, with an assignment duration of 13 weeks.
