Job Title: Echo Technician

MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a skilled Echo Technician for a travel assignment in Canton, Georgia.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Echo Technician to join our team. As an Echo Technician, you will be responsible for preparing patients for examinations, performing 2-dimensional echoes, M-mode, and Doppler studies, and preparing preliminary interpretations of those studies.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare patients for examinations and perform all 2-dimensional echoes, M-mode, and Doppler studies.
  • Prepare preliminary interpretations of those studies.
  • Prepare and maintain records of patient echo studies.
  • Assist supervising physicians with the training of residents, fellows, faculty, and other physicians.
  • Knowledge of multiple echocardiography platforms and technology.
  • Ability to read, interpret, apply, and follow physicians' orders, policies, procedures, or written and verbal instructions.
Requirements:
  • Successful completion of an accredited training course in cardiac technology.
  • Successful completion of an accredited training course in cardiac ultrasound.
  • Interpretation skills to facilitate a comprehensive examination and an accurate preliminary interpretation.
  • Successful completion of a cardiac echocardiography technology program (graduate of cardiac echocardiography technology program).
