Job Requirements:

As a Product Development Engineer at Orbis Corporation, you will be responsible for developing commercially viable designs for product offerings using CAD and other resources. You will collaborate with the Lead Engineer to develop, execute, and implement new products from concept to production, ensuring full compliance to ISO quality procedures and processes. Additionally, you will provide technical customer support and assistance, including travel requirements up to 10% both domestically and internationally. You will also be responsible for maintaining a high level of technical expertise and staying up-to-date with industry developments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement design solutions that meet customer needs and company goals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product launches.
  • Provide technical support and training to internal stakeholders.
  • Stay current with industry trends and developments, and apply this knowledge to improve product design and development processes.

Requirements:
  • 2 years of relevant work experience in product development or a related field.
  • 4 years of applicable technical experience with CAD software.
  • Experience with product development in an ISO controlled environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Design skills in related plastic processes and/or materials.
  • Experience with Windchill or other PDM software.
  • Experience with SolidWorks, SpaceClaim, KeyShot, or AutoCAD.
