Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team at Lee Health. As a Radiology Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our imaging department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform diagnostic radiology imaging procedures, including routine, mobile, and emergency procedures.
  • Comply with state and federal regulations for radiation usage and safety.
  • Evaluate and determine the diagnostic image quality of recorded images.
  • Participate in performance improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of new procedures and protocols.
  • Provide excellent patient care and work positively with all customers to promote employer, patient, and physician satisfaction.
  • Transport non-narcotic medications as directed and participate in on-call rotations as needed.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of a JRCERT-accredited or ARRT-approved radiography program.
  • State of Florida licensure as a Radiologic Technologist.
  • BLS (American Heart Association) certification.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in a hospital or healthcare setting.
  • Knowledge of radiation safety protocols and procedures.
