Job Summary

Lee Health is seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team in Diagnostic Imaging. As a PRN Diagnostic Imaging Technologist, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic, angiographic, and interventional imaging procedures in accordance with established procedures under the guidance of a qualified physician.

Key Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic, angiographic, and interventional imaging procedures
• Complies with State and Federal regulations for radiation usage and safety
• Evaluates and determines diagnostic image quality of recorded images
• Provides appropriate and safe patient care
• Works positively with all customers to promote employer, patient, and physician satisfaction
• Enters charges (tests and supplies) orders, and completes exams
• Provides comprehensive patient and family teaching based upon their individualized needs
• Participates in performance improvement initiatives
• Participates in staff/student orientation and training
• Performs duties as a Radiologic Technologist as required
• May transport non-narcotic medications as directed

Requirements

• Graduation from JRCERT Accredited or ARRT approved Radiologic Technology program
• 1 Year Diagnostic Radiology Required
• State of Florida Licensure
• BLS (American Heart Association / Basic Life Support) Required
• ARRT registered or registry eligible

Work Environment

• Works in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
• Collaborates with healthcare team to provide quality patient care
• May be required to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays
