Factory Cell Supervisor

The Indiana Production Facility (IPF) is Acuity Brands' largest assembly manufacturing site in the USA. We are seeking a skilled Factory Cell Leader to supervise 8-20 hourly employees in a lean manufacturing environment.

• Drive safety, quality, and productivity performance
• Determine daily manpower and work assignments for employees to adjust for fluctuations in demand
• Approve payroll, and administer corrective action
• May be scheduled on shifts and weekends without additional management support

• 2+ years in a lean manufacturing environment
• High-volume manufacturing experience
• Supervisory experience
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong math skills and comfort in numeric calculations
• Experience with Lean principles and exposure to Kaizen
• Prior experience leading continuous improvement projects
• High School diploma or equivalent
