Faculty Position in Respiratory Care

Molloy University seeks a highly qualified and experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist to join our faculty as a full-time educator in the Respiratory Care program. The ideal candidate will possess a master's degree from a regionally accredited academic institution and have a strong clinical practice background, as well as experience in teaching and curriculum development.

Responsibilities
  • Teach relevant courses in the Respiratory Care program
  • Supervise and evaluate clinical experiences in the specialty
  • Participate in curriculum innovation and development
  • Mentor and advise students
  • Provide service to the University, School of Nursing and Health Sciences, and profession
Qualifications
  • Master's degree from a regionally accredited academic institution
  • Valid Registered Respiratory Therapy (RRT) credential and eligibility for unencumbered NY state license
  • Minimum of four (4) years' experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist with at least two (2) years in clinical respiratory care
  • Two (2) years' experience teaching in an accredited respiratory care program, either as an appointed faculty member or as a clinical preceptor
Preferred Qualifications
  • NPS, CPFT, RPFT, SOS, and ACCS credentials
  • CPR, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications
