Job Title: Pre-K Lead Teacher

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pre-K Lead Teacher to join our team at Chesterbrook Academy. As a Pre-K Lead Teacher, you will be responsible for coordinating classroom operations, implementing our proprietary curriculum, and ensuring a safe and engaging learning environment for our students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate classroom operations, including lesson planning, classroom setup, and student supervision
  • Implement our proprietary curriculum, which is literacy-based and structured, but also flexible to accommodate student interests and needs
  • Develop and maintain relationships with fellow staff members, school administration, families, and the community
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and effective educational program
  • Monitor and report student progress, identifying areas of strength and weakness
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay current with best practices

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Special Education, Elementary Education, or a related field
  • Associate degree with 6 credit hours in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Special Education, Elementary Education, or a related field
  • High School Diploma or GED and an awarded CDA (Child Development Associate)
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Comply with all company and state-specific standards and maintain validation of required credentials for the position
