Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage access to a high-security facility designated for individuals under court orders
  • Utilize protective equipment while engaging with patients in the Forensic Program
  • Oversee patient interactions, facilitate patient transport, assist with admissions, and ensure a secure environment
  • Monitor restricted items, conduct package inspections, operate access controls, and handle incoming communications

Essential Qualifications:

  • Background in security and/or mental health services
  • Readiness to don safety gear and work during evening or night hours
  • Possession of a valid driver's license and flexibility in work hours
  • Strong observational, decision-making, and physical skills
  • Capability to manage physically aggressive situations and work autonomously or collaboratively
  • CPR certification and ability to lift substantial weights

Additional Preferences:

  • Experience in safety, security, and mental health environments is advantageous
